Zeta Filter was a brand that fell into the lower to middle class category but was regarded by smokers as a more distinctive and quality alternative to other generic cigarettes. Named after the Montenegrin river Zeta, it was mostly available in the western part of Yugoslavia. Users described it as “a better choice among the cheaper cigarettes,” with a slightly fuller flavor and recognizable packaging.
